WE CARE ABOUT THE CAREGIVERS

THE WAY WE WORK.

HSS Superkoulu is an educational institution offering a two-year training pathway designed for individuals who want to build their future careers in Finland. The program starts with 12 months of intensive Finnish language studies, followed by 12 months of vocational training to become a Practical Nurse (lähihoitaja).

All studies are completed through our digital learning platform before arrival in Finland. Our training not only provides the necessary language and professional skills but also prepares students with essential knowledge about Finnish society, culture, and working life.

During the second year, students complete a practical training period (harjoittelu) in Finland. As part of this process, Superkoulu helps each student find a suitable workplace for their on-the-job learning and supports them in building their career path in Finland.

Once students arrive in Finland, our dedicated integration team supports their adaptation by assisting with practical matters like housing, local services, and understanding Finnish everyday life.

We care about how we educate future caregivers.

We care about their growth and success in Finland.

EDUCATION.

MEET SUPERKOULU.

Language studies are a central part of our training program, designed to develop students' communication skills and the Finnish language proficiency required for their future profession. The goal is for every student to reach at least an A2 level in Finnish.

Our study environment is fully virtual, offering a flexible and adaptive way to learn. Students can study at their own pace and in their own time, with full access to the resources and support they need.

During the language studies, students practice Finnish 3–4 times a week in one-on-one conversations with native Finnish speakers. These sessions are crucial for applying the language in real communication situations and receiving immediate feedback and guidance.

Professional studies are conducted in collaboration with Finnish vocational schools, ensuring that students receive high-quality education in the care sector. Continuous progress monitoring helps us provide timely support and guidance throughout their studies.

During the second year, students complete a practical training period (harjoittelu) in Finland. Superkoulu assists each student in finding a suitable workplace for their internship, helping them transition towards employment in the Finnish care sector.

We don't just teach the language — we teach living and working in Finland.

INTEGRATION.

Moving to a new country, starting studies, and adapting to a new environment is a major life change. At Superkoulu, our goal is to make the transition easier, so that students can focus fully on their studies and settling into their new lives in Finland.

We support students with community activities, additional language practice, and events that help them integrate into Finnish society. Our aim is to ensure that students not only succeed academically but also enjoy their everyday life in their new home country.
